    Join the City of Frisco, the Frisco Garden Club and Frisco VFW Post 8273 for a Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 27 at Frisco Commons.    The event features a traditional flag and wreath-laying ceremony, patriotic music and participation from local scouts. The Frisco Garden Club and the local VFW post have been coordinating Memorial Day services in Frisco since 1994.

  1. Art in the Atrium 18

    Twice a year, the City of Frisco’s Public Art Program hosts the Art in the Atrium exhibition. The exhibitions feature 2-Dimensional artwork created by North Texas artists. Artwork is on view throughout the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center for approximately five months. This is an ideal opportunity for artists eager to share their works of art and vision with the community.

    This new detective course is intended to make the participants recognize the importance of basic investigative techniques that are often overlooked or not given the proper level of importance in the face of newer technologies investigative techniques. This class also gives an introduction to 4th and 5th Amendment issues encountered by detectives and the importance of striving for and maintaining the highest quality of investigation in all cases. It also introduces the detective to the dynamics of interacting with victims and their family members.
