    Come fly away with us for the last two weeks of August with an art exhibition for the birds! Texas Master Naturalist and photographer, John Garbutt, is hosting his debut solo photography show at the Frisco Art Gallery, featuring all kinds of birds from around Frisco to the Texas coast and beyond! Vote on your favorites throughout the show for a "People's Choice" winning image at the end of the exhibition. John Garbutt is the youngest member of the Prairie and Timbers Audubon Society. He has also won the Friends of Hagerman National Wildlife contest, and has won the Pennington Wild Bird Feed Weekly contest twice in the last year.

  1. Roll with the Council & Six Cities Trail Dedication

    Join us for this special Roll with the Council where the Six-Cities Trail Connection to Plano will be dedicated midpoint in the ride. Want to come to the dedication but not the ride? No problem. There are two times and locations for this event; one for the RWC ride and one for those attending the dedication and ribbon cutting only. See details below:: 1:00 p.m. Join the Roll with the Council event leaving Harold Bacchus Community Park at 1 p.m. and ride to the ribbon cutting with elected city officials.Please arrive early for a 1 p.m. departure. Harold Bacchus Community Park 13995 E. Main Street Route: (8 miles) OR 1:30 p.m. Join us at the Dedication/Ribbon Cutting only. Limestone Quarry/Taychas Trail 6300 Maltby Drive From the Taychas Trailhead walk south 10 minutes to ribbon cutting. Ceremony should last 30 to 40 minutes.Transportation to site will also be available at the Taychas Trailhead.
