   Frisco is one of the most beautiful and charming neighborhoods in North Texas. But I'd like to comment about some community advancement that (I guess) we need. In my opinion we need to improve our...

   Frisco is one of the most beautiful and charming neighborhoods in North Texas. But I'd like to comment about some community advancement that (I guess) we need. In my opinion we need to improve our community experience and environment: We need something like 1)Dallas Katy Trail. Frisco has a lot of runners and there isn't any long soft (recycled-)rubber track. I'd like to encourage our city manager to build up a public trail (which may be finish in the Lewisville lake?That would be awesome). We could organize some races,look for sponsors and ask for donations in order to get the money for that. 2)I think it would be nice to have a public park with food trucks and events for our community. 3) finally it would be nice to have a strip like The shop at Legacy in Frisco. I love my city, I just wanted to give my opinion about some community improvements, which I think it would be great to have. Natalia Ps: Sorry for my English.

   Fuel Cell for usage in Cars, Forklifts, small trucks, etc is picking up and already fuel cell stations are being built in California. This is good for mother nature and very clean solution that will...

   Fuel Cell for usage in Cars, Forklifts, small trucks, etc is picking up and already fuel cell stations are being built in California. This is good for mother nature and very clean solution that will gradually take out our dependency on traditional fossil fuels. Frisco can take the lead in Texas by promoting fuel cell through incentives for providers or even opening a Hydrogen fuel cell station with cities funds. City trucks and forklifts can already operate on fuel cells. Also, using Fuel Cells for offloading the grid is an option that should be considered for large facilities like the Cowboy training stadium area..This will be a big advertisement for Frisco and promote industry to invest more in Frisco as a pioneer for young ideas and future innovation. There are Fuel Cell players like Plug Power, Fuel Cell Energy, Bloom Energy, etc who have field deployed and commercial solutions available today. Lets innovate Frisco and be a leader in Texas for Green solutions.

5. Reduce Green traffic light time on North colony Blvd and increase it for FM423 traffic..Will Solve daily traffic congestion on FM423

   Either we have lost common sense or Colony city officials are having their say in their favor. It is ridiculous to see traffic accumulate on FM423 every day for years now as we approach north colony...

   Either we have lost common sense or Colony city officials are having their say in their favor. It is ridiculous to see traffic accumulate on FM423 every day for years now as we approach north colony blvd traffic light. It frustrates me to see that their is a huge line of cars backed up on FM423 due to the long red light on North colony blvd, whereas there is hardly few cars on north colony blvd that can make do with a shorter green light time.. We are wasting fuel, time and polluting the environment for a mistake or ignorance from officials who can easily solve this issue by increasing the green light for FM423 by few seconds as compared to North colony blvd.

   To encourage walkability and reduce traffic, there should be small corner shops w/ beer & wine, delis, as well as some light dining, gastropub, etc. within neighborhoods or ground level of apartments primarily for residents without need for much parking space. Parking should be shrunk & de-prioritized with walking access cut-throughs. To work economically, it would need to be within a quarter mile of apartments, townhomes, senior living complexes... But hopefully within 1/2 mi from a big portion of a neighborhood or two. Being able to walk for coffee, donuts, chips & margaritas is one of the main reasons we moved to our neighborhood, but walking around the back & side of bldg and then through all the parking lots is the worst part. Commercial corners shouldn't be solid rectangles or L-shaped buildings and should include walking paths behind into the neighborhood or apartments would be really fun instead of having to walk on the side of major roads and through parking lots.
