Frisco to Host Free Drive-through COVID-19 Testing June 4; Appointments Required

(May 29, 2020) The City of Frisco will host a free, drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic on Thursday, June 4. The testing will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Toyota Stadium, 9200 World Cup Way. Testing will be held in the ‘Red’ parking lot, west of the stadium. Access World Cup Way from Main Street and view this map.  

Participants must register for an appointment. Registration will open Tuesday, June 2 -- 48 hours prior to testing. Again, all tests are by appointment, only; no ‘drive-ups’ will be accommodated.

To be eligible, residents must have one or more of the followings symptoms: 

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches, muscle or joint pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Headaches
  • Nausea / vomiting
  • Nasal congestion
  • Loss of taste and/or smell

 Governor Gregg Abbott deployed members of the Texas National Guard Mobile Testing Team to administer the free tests. 

‘Negative’ results will be sent, via text, to each registrant. Those who test ‘positive’ will be called by the Department of Health & Human Services.

The free, testing program is a collaborative effort that includes the Texas Military Department, North Center Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council, Texas Department of Emergency Management and Collin County.
