[ARCHIVED] Future 'Park at Frisco Square' Needs Name & Design

(January 21, 2020) We’re looking for help in choosing a design concept for the ’Park at Frisco Square’.  This 2.3 acre park will be located south of City Hall, between Jacob and Burlington Streets (see map).

  • Design concept 1 features a rain garden, reflective pool, and sculpture garden plus diagonal design elements and ample room for seating.
  • Design concept 2 features a multi-use lawn and amphitheater, plus areas for play, curved walking paths and rain gardens.

Give your design feedback by January 27 by email or stop by our in-person display on the fourth floor of the Frisco Public Library.

Name that Park Deadline Extended
The deadline for proposals to name six Frisco parks and trail sites (including the Frisco Square site noted above) has been extended to February 21. Interested in making a suggestion? Learn about the sites under consideration and the submission process. The Park Naming Committee reviews applications and makes recommendations to the City Council for approval.
