75 Residents Displaced after 2-Alarm Structure Fire at Apartment Complex; No Injuries Reported

(September 29, 2019) Frisco Dispatch alerted Frisco Fire Department units to respond to a reported structure fire in the 9300 block of Wade Blvd. at 11:12 a.m. Units arrived on scene at 11:18 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke showing from a 3-story apartment building. Units began an aggressive offensive attack on the building and began evacuating residents. A 2nd Alarm was declared at 11:30 a.m. and the fire was declared “out” at 12:00 p.m.

24 apartment units were affected by the fire. American Red Cross, in conjunction with property management, assisted the 75 displaced residents. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported during the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
