[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Robbery at Local Apartment Complex

FRISCO, TX – On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at approximately 4:14 PM, Frisco Police Department officers responded to 7-11 located at 7950 Gaylord Parkway in response to an aggravated robbery which took place at local apartment complex.

After withdrawing money from the ATM at 7-11, the victim was followed back to the apartment complex, where her vehicle was parked. The suspect, described as an unknown black male, took the victim’s purse and struck her in the head and face with a dark colored handgun during the commission of the robbery. The adult female victim fled on foot back to the 7-11 after the incident. The suspect then fled in what the victim described as light colored vehicle.

The Frisco Police Department feels that this was isolated crime of opportunity. We want to urge our community to maintain awareness of their surroundings, especially when conducting financial transactions at ATM’s.
