(April 8, 2019) The construction of the roundabout at Ohio Drive and Warren Parkway is now complete and the roundabout will open to traffic in all directions on Tuesday, April 9, starting at 9:00 a.m. This includes opening the roads that have been closed for the past three months: Northbound Ohio Drive will reopen to traffic from Gaylord Parkway to the roundabout and both directions of Warren Parkway will reopen to traffic just east of the roundabout. Traffic will once again be able to travel continuously in both directions along Ohio Drive and Warren Parkway through the area.
Once the roads are opened, the intersection of Ohio Drive and Warren Parkway will be a multi-lane roundabout similar to the one at John Hickman Parkway and Gaylord Parkway. All motorists entering the roundabout will need to yield to traffic in both circulating lanes approaching you from the left. Motorists who were accustomed to entering the partially-completed roundabout during construction should pay special attention to the fact that traffic will now be circulating around the entire roundabout. All motorists are urged to use caution at the intersection until people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns.
See the city's roundabout page for information about how to drive in a multi-lane roundabout.
