Frisco Resident Arrested for Arson Following House Fire

(September 24, 2018) On Saturday September 15, 2018, Frisco Firefighters responded to a house fire in a single family residential home in the 9000 block of Cambridge Dr at approximately 12:28 p.m. Units arrived on scene to find heavy black smoke showing from the back of the home. Firefighters began an aggressive interior attack and the fire was declared “under control” at 12:38 p. m. There were no injuries reported.

The Frisco Fire Department Fire Prevention Division initially ruled the fire as incendiary in nature and continued to interview potential witnesses. A suspect was identified as 37-year-old Anthony Hollins during the investigation. Today, Mr. Hollins was arrested for arson, a 2nd degree felony. Mr. Hollins is currently being held at the Collin County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
