Frisco Resident Arrested for Indecency with a Child

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018, the Frisco Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 6000-block of Blazing Star Road. Upon arrival, officers ascertained that a juvenile female, while walking with her adult caretaker, was approached by an unknown male.  The juvenile advised that the male touched her in an inappropriate area of her body and ran into a nearby residence.

Frisco Police Officers located the suspect at his residence.  He was identified as Chinh Van Dang.  Dang was subsequently arrested for Indecency with a Child, a Felony of the Second Degree.  Dang was transported by Frisco Police Officers to the Denton County Jail, where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.

On October 27th, 2017, Dang was involved in a similar incident in Frisco, in which he was indicted by a Denton County Grand Jury on April 30th, 2018 for the charge of Indecency with a Child.

Additionally, on May 1st, 2018, Dang was cited by the Frisco Police Department for Assault by Contact, which is a Class C Misdemeanor.  This case is pending adjudication in the Frisco Municipal Court.
