(July 19, 2018) As part of the project to reconstruct the intersection of Warren Parkway and Ohio Drive as a roundabout, traffic patterns will be modified at the intersection starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 23. Warren Parkway will be closed just west of Ohio Drive and traffic on Ohio Drive will be shifted so that north and southbound traffic will share the east half of the road. See the attached map. The intersection is expected to operate in this configuration for about three months.
During this closure, Warren Parkway will only be open to local shopping center traffic between Preston Road and Ohio Drive. Eastbound traffic on Warren Parkway will not be able to reach Ohio Drive. Westbound traffic on Warren Parkway will have to turn north or south onto Ohio Drive. Traffic that normally uses Warren Parkway to travel between Preston Road and Ohio Drive should use John Hickman Parkway or Gaylord Parkway as an alternate route around the closure (see the attached map). Detour signs will be posted.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
Motorists can use the Waze app to navigate around road closures:

When construction is complete, the intersection of Warren Parkway and Ohio Drive will be a multi-lane roundabout similar to the one at John Hickman Parkway and Gaylord Parkway. Click here for more information about multi-lane roundabouts in Frisco.
