[ARCHIVED] Frisco Police Investigate Shooting

(June 15, 2018) On Friday, June 15, 2018 at approximately 9:40pm, near the intersection of Gaylord Pkwy and John Hickman Pkwy in Frisco, TX, an unknown occupant of a dark colored pickup truck opened fire on another motorist injuring the driver before fleeing the area.

Frisco Police Officers are currently investigating a shooting, possibly involving road rage, where the occupant of a vehicle opened fire on another vehicle striking the driver and causing injury. The unknown shooter fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect vehicle was described as possibly a dark colored truck with white writing or stickers on the back window and a loud muffler. The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling towards the Dallas North Tollway on John Hickman Pkwy, eastbound from Gaylord Pkwy. The driver should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who observes the vehicle is urged to contact police immediately. 

The adult male victim of the shooting was transported by Frisco Medics to THR Plano Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The adult female passenger of the victim’s vehicle had no reported injuries. Frisco Police are still investigating this offense.
