Frisco Firefighters Respond to House Fire; No Firefighters or Civilians Injured

(June 12, 2018) At 4:13 a.m., Frisco Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 12000 block of Daimler Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire showing from a second-floor bedroom. Firefighters began an offensive attack and the fire was declared under control at 4:43 a.m.

During the incident, one firefighter was briefly stuck in a void space between the first and second floor after the second floor gave way. The firefighter was removed, with assistance from other firefighters, and walked safely out of the structure. The firefighter was evaluated on scene and no injuries are reported.

There are no reported civilian injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
