[ARCHIVED] Suspect Arrested for Making Threats to a Frisco Middle School

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at approximately 4:30 PM, Frisco Police arrested a 14-year-old student for making a terroristic threat towards Cobb Middle School, a Frisco ISD School.


On the morning of May 23rd, 2018, the Frisco Police Department was made aware of a non-credible threat against Cobb Middle School. While Frisco Police School Resource Officers were investigating the original threat, more threats were received at approximately 3:00 p.m. While investigating the additional threats, Frisco Police School Resource Officers were able to identify the suspect making the additional threats as a 14-year-old student of Cobb Middle School.


At approximately 4:30 p.m., the student was taken into custody without incident at the school. The student has been charged with Terroristic Threat (TX PC 22.07), which is a 3rd degree felony punishable by 2 to 10 years in jail.


No other information will be released at this time.
