Fire Crews Deploy to the Texas Panhandle for Wildfire Aid

(March 17, 2018) Frisco Fire Department was requested to respond to the Wichita Falls, Texas area as a part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS).  Frisco Fire Department will send four firefighters on a Type III engine, along with other fire agencies, as a strike team assisting in a state wide effort to battle several large wild fires in the Texas Panhandle.

Crews will leave from Frisco Central Fire Station at 1:30pm where they will join other strike teams from the area in Flower Mound.  The strike team will leave from Flower Mound and report to Wichita Falls where they will receive their assignment.

Fire crews may be deployed for up to seven days.
