[ARCHIVED] Northeast Community Park & Skate Park Grand Opening is Aug. 19

We're stoked!  The grand opening of Northeast Community Park - including Frisco's first skate park is Saturday, August 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  Festivities include DJ, refreshments, a ribbon cutting and the first official skate at 2895 Honey Grove Drive. Everyone is welcome. Bring your wheels!

The skate park is the second largest in Texas at more than 47,000 square feet, and caters to skateboards, bikes, in-line skates and scooters. The park is designed for all levels of riders—from newbie to professional, with one-acre of custom designed terrain.

Northeast Community Park also includes multipurpose athletic fields, cricket pitches, walking trails, playground facilities, concession and storage buildings, pond, and various other amenities. A planned future phase will include additional multi-sport athletics fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts and splash pad.
