[ARCHIVED] Frisco Police Investigate Shooting

At approximately 12:09 am, Frisco Police responded to Stewart Creek Apartments, located at 7549 Stonebrook Parkway, in reference to a 911 call of a burglary in progress. The reporting party advised that someone was attempting to break into the apartment and was shot.


Upon arrival, officers located the 43 year old male, who attempted to enter the apartment. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly upon arrival. The identities of the subjects involved are being withheld at this time for investigatory reasons.


The incident is currently being investigated by Frisco Detectives. This is an isolated occurrence and no other persons of interest are being sought in relation to it.
