[ARCHIVED] Gaylord Parkway closed at Dallas Parkway tonight and tomorrow night

(November 27, 2023) As part of NTTA’s Dallas North Tollway (DNT) widening project, Gaylord Pkwy. will be closed at Dallas Pkwy. tonight, November 27, and Tuesday night, November 28.  Each night, the roads will close at 11 p.m. and will reopen the following morning by 6 a.m.  See PDF of map.  Detour signs will be posted. 

During the closure, no traffic will be allowed under the DNT bridge. 

  • Westbound traffic on Gaylord Pkwy. will be forced to turn right onto the northbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road and can make a left-turn or a u-turn at Warren Pkwy. to continue their journey west.
  • Eastbound traffic on Gaylord Pkwy. will be forced to turn right onto the southbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road and can make a left-turn or a u-turn at SH 121 to continue their journey east.  

This closure will not affect through traffic on northbound or southbound Dallas Pkwy., but traffic will not be able to turn left or make a u-turn at Gaylord Pkwy.
