[ARCHIVED] Coleman Blvd. and Simpson Plaza closed Saturday for Trick or Treat Event

(October 27, 2023) Coleman Blvd. and the roads around Simpson Plaza will be closed Saturday, October 28, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for “Trick or Treat the Square.”  As a result, there will be no vehicular access to the front of the businesses along Coleman Blvd. nor to the front of City Hall.  During this closure, Frisco Square residents, customers, and those attending the event will need to take alternate routes to their destinations (PDF of map).  Detour signs will be posted.

Frisco Square customers and those attending the event (which runs from 1- 4:00 p.m.) can park in the western parking garage (west of Coleman Blvd.), the East Frisco Square parking lot (east of Coleman Blvd.), or the municipal parking garage behind City Hall (which has ADA accessible parking on each level next to the elevator).

  • The western parking garage can be reached from Main Street by turning down World Cup Way.
  • The East Frisco Square parking lot can be reached from Main Street or by turning south onto Frisco St.
  • The municipal parking garage can be reached from Main St. by turning south on John W. Elliott Dr. to reach Page St., or drivers on northbound Dallas Pkwy. can turn east on Page St.
