[ARCHIVED] Northbound Custer Rd. closed at Eldorado Pkwy. Wed. night, June 14

**The previously announced closure of northbound Custer Road has been postponed and will now occur Wednesday night.** 

(UPDATED: June 13, 2023, 1:15 p.m.) As part of a construction project in the City of McKinney, northbound Custer Rd. will be closed north of Eldorado Pkwy. Wednesday night, June 14.  The northbound lanes will close at 9 p.m. Wednesday night and are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday morning (weather pending).  Southbound Custer Rd. will not be affected. 

During this closure, traffic on northbound Custer Rd. will be diverted west on Eldorado Pkwy., north on Independence Pkwy., and east on Westridge Pkwy. to return to Custer Rd.  Detour signs will be posted.  See Map of Closure (PDF). (Note map has original date but detour is the same).

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
