(April 20, 2023) As part of NTTA’s Tollway extension project, the middle of the intersection of PGA Pkwy and Dallas Pkwy will be closed Friday night, April 21.  The intersection will close at 9 p.m. and will reopen the following morning at 5 a.m.

During this nighttime closure, east and westbound PGA Pkwy will be closed under the bridge of the Tollway.  Through traffic on Dallas Pkwy will not be affected but no traffic will be able to make a left-turn or a u-turn at this intersection.  The specific road closures are shown on the attached map and described below.  Detour signs will be posted.

  • Eastbound PGA Pkwy will be closed at Dallas Pkwy and all traffic on that road will be forced to turn right onto southbound Dallas Pkwy.  Motorists can make a u-turn at Panther Creek Pkwy and then use northbound Dallas Pkwy  to reach PGA Pkwy  and continue their journey east.
  • Westbound PGA Pkwy will be closed at Dallas Pkwy and all traffic on that road will be forced to turn right onto northbound Dallas Pkwy.   Motorists can make a u-turn at US 380 and then use southbound Dallas Pkwy  to reach PGA Pkwy  and continue their journey west.
  • Northbound Dallas Pkwy will not be affected except that no one on that road will be able to turn left onto westbound PGA Pkwy.  Motorists wanting to make this movement can follow the detour described above by making a u-turn at US 380.
  • Southbound Dallas Pkwy will not be affected except that no one on that road will be able to turn left onto eastbound PGA Pkwy.  Motorists wanting to make this movement can follow the detour described above by making a u-turn at Panther Creek Pkwy.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
