(March 13, 2023) With a heavy heart, we’re sad to share news about the passing of Mayor Bob Warren, who died at 102.  ‘Mayor Bob’ served three-terms as mayor, 1989 – 1996. Prior to being elected mayor, he served six years on council.  His city service marked early years in Frisco’s phenomenal growth.  Mayor Bob was the consummate storyteller and leaves a legacy of recounting our community’s history.  He was also known for his smile and wit.  Today, Mayor Cheney shared some thoughts about Mayor Warren:

“Those that knew Mayor Warren saw his gentle loving soul. He was always so encouraging of me and other Council Members. He had a quick wit and always found a way to make others laugh and smile,” Mayor Jeff Cheney.

Mayor Bob was a Frisco treasure who will be truly missed.
