Westbound Panther Creek Pkwy Closed at Dallas Pkwy Nightly starting Sunday, February 26

(February 24, 2023) As part of NTTA’s Tollway widening project, westbound Panther Creek Pkwy will be closed between the Dallas Pkwy frontage roads each night starting Sunday, February 26.  The road will close each night at 9 p.m. and reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.  These closures are expected to continue for five nights (weather permitting).

During each nightly closure, through traffic on Dallas Pkwy will not be affected but no traffic will be able to travel west through the intersection.  The specific road closures are shown on the attached map (PDF) and described below.  Detour signs will be posted.

  • WB Panther Creek Pkwy will be closed at Dallas Pkwy and all westbound traffic on that road will be forced to turn right onto northbound Dallas Pkwy.   Drivers can make a u-turn at PGA Pkwy and then use southbound Dallas Pkwy to reach Panther Creek Pkwy and continue their journey west.
  • NB Dallas Pkwy will not be affected except that no one on that road will be able to turn left onto westbound Panther Creek Pkwy.  Drivers wanting to make this movement can follow the detour described above by making a u-turn at PGA Pkwy.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.  As a reminder, drivers can also use the Waze app to navigate around road closures.  Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
