SBA Disaster Assistance Available for Businesses and Residents Affected by August Storms

(November 4, 2022) The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering Disaster Assistance to Texas Businesses and Residents in Dallas County and the Contiguous Counties of Collin, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall & Tarrant that were affected by Severe Storms and Flooding that occurred Aug. 22-23, 2022, and has been declared an Agency Disaster by Governor Greg Abbott on September 13, 2022. 

The deadline for property damage is November 14, 2022. The deadline to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) the deadline is June 14, 2023. The SBA encourages residents and businesses to complete the SBA Application even if they are not sure they need it.  Learn more about what is available and how to apply in the attached flyer below,  including both English and Spanish translations.

Three Ways to Apply:

  • Apply online using SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela
  • Apply in person at any Disaster Loan Outreach Center and receive personal, one-on-one help from an SBA representative. For additional information or to find a location near you visit our website at https://www.sba.gov or call SBA at (800) 659-2955. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
  • Apply by mail: Send Completed applications should be mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX  76155.
