[ARCHIVED] New Traffic Signal on Coit Road at Canoe Road

(September 13, 2022) A new traffic signal on Coit Rd. at Canoe Rd. is being activated in the flashing mode. While in the flashing mode, traffic on Coit Rd. will not have to stop at the flashing yellow light. Traffic on Canoe Rd. will see a flashing red light and will continue to stop at the stop signs. This intersection is located south of Main St. and north of Rolater Rd. See attached map (PDF)

The stop signs will be removed and the traffic signal will become fully operational on Thursday, September 15. Drivers are urged to use caution at this intersection as people become accustomed to the new traffic control patterns.
