Meadow Hill Drive Reduced to One-Way, One Lane Starting Monday, August 22

(August 20, 2022) Meadow Hill Drive will be reduced to one lane and will operate as a one-way road in the westbound direction between Preston Road and Rogers Road starting Monday, August 22, so the road can be reconstructed.  It will operate as a one-way road for about a year while one half of the road is removed and reconstructed. The other half of the road will be reconstructed months later.

During the construction project, traffic can enter the Preston Estates and Meadow Hill Estates neighborhoods by turning onto Meadow Hill Drive from Preston Road, but will not be able to use Meadow Hill Drive to exit onto Preston Road.  See attached map (PDF).

Traffic leaving the neighborhood will need to use North County Road to go north to Eldorado Parkway or south to Main Street.  Traffic leaving the neighborhood can also use Rogers Road to reach Eldorado Parkway, but should avoid doing so on school days between 7:00-7:45 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance. To see the overall schedule for the project and to keep track of the anticipated work, please visit Friscotexas.gov/MeadowHill.

Motorists can use the Waze app to navigate around road closures. Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
