[ARCHIVED] Partial Closure of Simpson Plaza in Front of Municipal Center Wednesday Morning

(June 21, 2022)  The portion of Simpson Plaza directly in front of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center will be closed Wednesday morning, June 22, for a special event.  The road will close at 7 a.m. and will reopen at 11 a.m.  During the closure, drivers will still be able to approach City Hall and the Public Library from all directions, but they will not be able to drive or park directly in front of the building (see attached map).  Any driver who circulates around Simpson Plaza will be diverted to circulate around the back of the building where they will have access to the free parking garage.  ADA accessible parking is available on each level of the garage next to the elevator.

Drivers can use the Waze app to navigate around road closures. Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
