[ARCHIVED] Traffic Switch on Town & Country Blvd starting Monday, May 16

(May 13, 2022) As part of the city’s Legacy Drive widening project, traffic patterns will be modified on Town & Country Boulevard between Spring Creek Parkway and Legacy Drive at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 16.  The eastbound and westbound traffic currently using the two-lane section of Town & Country Boulevard will be switched to the new two-lanes of pavement built to the south.  See the map (PDF).  This will allow the contractor to reconstruct the existing pavement.

After the switch, pay special attention to the new location of stop lines and turn lanes. Drivers are urged to watch for flaggers and to use caution in the construction zone as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns

This traffic switch is the second phase of the project that will widen Town & Country Boulevard from a two-lane, undivided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway between Spring Creek Parkway and Legacy Drive. The estimated completion date is fall  2022.
