The line break was initially reported to Little Elm Fire this morning at 9:10 a.m. when construction crews in the area were boring and cut a six-inch gas line.

Since then, Frisco Fire, including HAZMAT, has joined the response.  Coserv utility crews have been on the scene monitoring levels and working to shut off the gas line. Coserv tells Frisco Fire it could take as many as four hours to cut off gas to the line (by approximately 5 p.m.).

Emergency responders remain on the scene and continue to monitor gas levels.  A hotline is available for residents at 972-292-6498*.
