Resources for Monitoring Power Outages

(February 15, 2021) Report your power outages to Oncor (TXU) and CoServ; however, we understand it’s been challenging to reach power companies.

If you haven’t been able to report your outage, please use the links below to MONITOR the progress.  If you do not have access to the Internet on your phone, please call 972-292-6415 and speak to one of our city employees, who is ready to assist you.

**CoServ requests customers have account information handy.

**Oncor relays they are aware of all power outages and there is not need for customers to report.

We understand your frustrations – we’re frustrated, too.  Please know – our first responders, along with other city staff, are working around the clock to handle problems.  Unfortunately, we don’t know when power will be restored by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).   Given this extreme, historic, winter weather experience, we are doing our best help you.  Again, if you have a working cell phone, download the ERCOT app so you can monitor electric grid conditions in real time.

In the meantime, bookmark  and look for the latest on closures and cold weather tips.
