Holiday Hours - December & January 2020/2021

(December 16, 2020) City of Frisco administrative offices at City Hall, the Frisco Municipal Court and the Central Fire Administration will be closed on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25, reopening Monday, December 28. The same city offices will also close Friday, January 1, 2021.  Below are the hours for other city facilities.

There will be no recycling or trash services provided on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25 or New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1. On both holiday weeks, if your regular service day is Friday, services will be provided Saturday. Collection on Monday through Thursday will not be affected. Regular curbside services resume Monday, January 4.

The Environmental Collection Center, including the household chemical and electronics disposal areas, will be closed Thursday, December 24 – Saturday, December 26, as well as Friday, January 1, reopening with normal hours December 28 and January 4 respectively.  Drop-off without an attendant present is considered illegal dumping.

Frisco Public Library (The drive-thru book drop will remain open and is located behind the building)

  • Closed, Thursday, December 24 – Sunday, December 27 (Regular hours resume Monday, December 28.)
  • Thursday, December 31 – Closed at 6 p.m.
  • Closed Friday, January 1 – Sunday, January 3 (Regular hours resume Monday, January 4.)

Frisco Athletic Center - See a complete list of modified holiday hours including group exercise, studios, the gymnasium and the indoor aquatic center.

  • Open Wednesday, December 23, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Closed Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25
  • Open Thursday, December 31, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Closed Friday, January 1

Frisco Heritage Center will be closed Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25 and Friday, January 1 

Frisco Discovery Center will be closed Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25 and Friday, January 1 (Note: Our tenant partners may have differing schedules this week, please check their respective websites for details.)
