[ARCHIVED] US 380 Closed at Dallas Pkwy Friday Night, November 20

This closure is a repeat of last Friday night's closure and is required due to the ongoing construction of NTTA's Dallas North Tollway overpass at US 380

(November 19, 2020) Both directions of the US 380 overpass and US 380 frontage road ("University Drive") will be closed at Dallas Pkwy Friday night, November 20, while NTTA constructs the new Tollway overpass. The roads will close Friday night at 9 p.m. and will reopen Saturday morning by 5 a.m.

During this road closure, all traffic on US 380 will be diverted onto the frontage road as each direction approaches Dallas Pkwy. Then, all traffic on the eastbound frontage road will be diverted onto southbound Dallas Pkwy and can make a u-turn at PGA Pkwy (formerly Rockhill Pkwy) to return to US 380 on northbound Dallas Pkwy.

All traffic on the westbound frontage road will be diverted onto northbound Dallas Pkwy and can make a u-turn at First Street in Prosper to return to US 380 on southbound Dallas Pkwy.  Traffic on northbound or southbound Dallas Pkwy wanting to make a left-turn onto US 380 will follow the same detours.  Detour signs will be posted.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and seek an alternate route ahead of time.  As a reminder, drivers can also use the Waze app to navigate around road closures.  Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
