Westbound US 380 frontage road closed at Dallas Parkway each night October 30, November 1-4

(October 30, 2020) The westbound US 380 frontage road (“University Drive”) will be closed at Dallas Pkwy each night starting October 30, and again Sunday night, November 1 continuing through Wednesday night, November 4, while NTTA constructs the new Tollway overpass. (The road will not be closed Saturday night due to Halloween.) The road will close each night at 9 p.m. and will reopen the following morning by 5 a.m.

During each road closure, traffic on the westbound frontage road will be diverted onto northbound Dallas Pkwy and can make a U-turn at First St in Prosper to return to US 380 on southbound Dallas Pkwy.  Traffic on northbound Dallas Pkwy wanting to make a left-turn onto US 380 will follow the same detour.  Detour signs will be posted.  Traffic on the main lanes of US 380 will not be affected.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and seek an alternate route ahead of time.  As a reminder, drivers can also use the Waze app to navigate around road closures.  Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
