Denton County Confirms Death of Frisco Woman, Frisco's Ninth COVID-19 Related Death

(August 18, 2020) Denton County Public Health (DCPH) reports death of Frisco woman in her 80s as a result of COVID-19, bringing Frisco’s total number of deaths to nine between Denton and Collin counties.  No additional information has been provided.

“Please keep this woman and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney.  “We’ve now lost nine of our neighbors to COVID-19.  The losses underscore the need for everyone to do their part to slow the spread – wear masks, social distance, sanitize and wash your  hands often.”

Frisco reminds everyone to take advantage of the free, saliva test being offered by the state, here at a testing site in Frisco. Check out FriscoTexas.gov/coronavirus for more information.
