Denton County Confirms Death of Frisco Man, Frisco's Eighth COVID-19 Related Death

(August 12, 2020) Denton County Public Health (DCPH) reports death of Frisco man in his 80s as a result of COVID-19, bringing Frisco’s total number of deaths to eight between Denton and Collin counties.  No additional information has been provided. 

“Please keep this Frisco man and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney.  “His death is a sad reminder, our community can’t stop practicing healthy habits like social distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing and washing our hands.  We’ve got to do everything we can to slow the spread of the virus.” 

Frisco reminds everyone to take advantage of the free, saliva test being offered by the state, here at a testing site in Frisco. Check out FriscoTexas.gov/coronavirus for more information.
