Denton County Confirms Death of Frisco Woman, Frisco's Sixth COVID-19 Related Death

(August 6, 2020) Denton County Public Health reports death of Frisco woman in her 80s as a result of COVID-19. No additional information has been provided. Frisco has confirmed a total of six COVID-19 related deaths  between Denton and Collin counties.

“We will be praying for this woman and her loved ones,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney.  “Anytime we learn of another Frisco death, we’re sadly reminded of how important it is to practice social distancing, wearing masks and washing our hands often.  Let’s all to our part to slow the spread.”

The City of Frisco’s Public Health Awareness dashboard is updated daily and provides a graphical representation of data contained in the table. This digital tool also serves as a gateway to dashboards provided by Collin and Denton Counties, which are our health authorities, as well as Texas Department of State Health Services.  Please note, the dashboards may differ as not all data is city specific.
