Denton County Confirms Death of Frisco Man, Frisco's Fourth COVID-19 Related Death

(July 20, 2020) Denton County Public Health (DCPH) has announced three additional Denton County community members have died, including one Frisco man in his 40s as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total to 45 deaths due to COVID-19 in Denton County. No additional information has been provided.

“We can’t emphasize enough the importance of doing everything we can to reduce the risks of spreading the virus,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney.  “That means wearing masks, social distancing and washing your hands because COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate.  Late this afternoon, we learned another one of our Frisco neighbors died from illness related to the virus.  I ask you to keep this man and his loved ones in your prayers.”

The City of Frisco’s Public Health Awareness dashboard is updated daily and provides a graphical representation of data contained in the table. This digital tool also serves as a gateway to dashboards provided by Collin and Denton Counties, which are our health authorities, as well as Texas Department of State Health Services.  Please note, the dashboards may differ as not all data is city specific.
