[ARCHIVED] Traffic switch on Panther Creek Parkway at Hillcrest Road on Monday, June 22

(June 19, 2020) Traffic patterns will be modified on Panther Creek Pkwy on either side of Hillcrest Rd starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 22, so that traffic can utilize the new pavement between Alameda Dr and Herschel Dr.  Both directions of traffic have been sharing the south half of the road, but traffic will be switched so that east and westbound traffic will flow on opposite sides of the median. Initially, only one lane on each side of the median will be open as work continues on the new road.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area during the traffic switch and to watch for flaggers. After the switch, drivers turning onto Panther Creek Pkwy from Hillcrest Rd (or another side street) should pay special attention to the new location of stop lines and medians and are urged to use caution in the construction zone as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns.
