[ARCHIVED] Play Frisco Facilities Update

(June 5, 2020)  The following is a list of parks and recreation facilities that have reopened and those that remain closed due to the recent public health emergency. The department is continually monitoring the current public health emergency and will reopen facilities as it is safe to do so. 

Please continue to follow CDC guidelines: Keep a physical distance of 6 feet from anyone not in your household, wash hands often or use hand sanitizer, consider wearing a cloth face covering when appropriate. For information regarding all city operations, please go to FriscoTexas.gov/Coronavirus.

OPEN

  • Frisco Athletic Center--Fitness floor open with advance registration
  • Summer Recreation Programs
    • Class registration open with modified list of offerings.
    • Swim lesson registration is open
    • Classes added throughout the summer.
  • Frisco Discovery Center

  • Frisco Heritage Center

  • Parks & Trails
    • Playgrounds--Please be aware it is difficult to disinfect park equipment and furnishings to completely eradicate the potential spread of COVID-19.
    • Spray Parks
    • Park Pavilions
    • Park Restrooms
    • Athletic Game Fields
    • Sand Volleyball Courts--No more than 4 participants playing at a time.
    • Outdoor Basketball Courts--No more than 4 participants playing at a time.
    • Tennis and Pickleball
    • Mountain Bike Trail
    • Skate Park
    • Dash’s Track Disc Golf

CLOSED

  • Frisco Water Park
  • FAC Indoor Aquatic Center--swim lessons and lap swim open
  • FAC Fun Club and Zone (FAC child care)
  • The Grove at Frisco Commons
