[ARCHIVED] Frisco Police Investigate Welfare Concern

On Tuesday, March 16, 2016, at approximately 7:15 pm, officers with the Frisco Police Department responded to an apartment complex located in the 3100 block of Parkwood Boulevard to a report of a welfare concern.

It was reported that a female was being held against her will by a known male at this address. Upon arrival, officers began trying to make contact with people inside the apartment.

Nearby residents were evacuated for their safety and the Frisco Police Department Special Operations Unit, including Crisis Negotiators, responded to the scene. At approximately 1:50 am, the female was released from the apartment unharmed. She is in a safe location with investigators at this time.

At approximately 2:55 am, officers were able to make contact with the suspect, identified as 32 year old Fredrich Henry of Frisco, as he exited the apartment. Henry had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.

Frisco Police Detectives are investigating this incident and additional charges may be filed.
