About the artists

Garrett Owen was born in San Antonio, TX but raised in East Africa (Tanzania and Kenya) and South America by career Missionary Parents but now resides in Fort Worth. He won the 2018 Telluride Troubadour contest at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and was nominated for 4 Dallas Observer Music Awards in 2018, and for 2 more in 2020. He has released 2 full length albums, an EP, and 5 covers since his last full length release with an album in the works for 2024 (on State Fair Records). Listen to Garrett's music on Spotify and Apple Music.

Wesley Geiger is an independent singer and songwriter from Dallas, TX. His debut album, El Dorado, released in 2014. It was inspired by the American Southwest and the country music and classic singer/songwriters Wesley would listen to on drives between his hometown of Dallas and Los Angeles, where he was in school. His sophomore album, No Cigar, is due to be released in August of 2023. Both albums feature members of the Texas Gentlemen, a band that Wesley has a rich history with. No Cigar was the result of several years of dedicated practice and study, especially on the piano. Its writing was largely informed by jazz harmony, and is inspired as much by Weather Report as it is by Jerry Jeff Walker. Check out Wesley's music on Spotify and Apple Music.
