About Frisco Fun - Parks & Recreation

Message From the Director

Welcome to the Frisco Parks and Recreation Department. Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the country and has been called the best place to live in the nation, best place to raise a family and the best place to raise an athlete by national media. We keep pace with demand with a clear mission and vision, along with City and community support, to provide quality parks, recreation and cultural opportunities for those who call Frisco home, as well as our visitors.

The Frisco Parks & Recreation Department is one of only 115 cities nationwide to be accredited by the National Recreation & Park Association, and a proud three-time winner of the Texas Recreation and Parks Society Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management.

Our Mission

Leading Frisco by creating a sense of well being through play.
