Parks & Recreation Facility Updates as of June 1, 2020

Due to the current health emergency declaration by the Frisco City Council, some Parks & Recreation facilities are temporarily closed and some services suspended. Staff is continually evaluating closures and will open facilities/resume services as soon as it is safe to do so. 

OPEN as of May 22

All playgrounds and neighborhood parks, community parks, and sports complexes are open with CDC social distancing of 6 feet in place.

Open as of June 1

  • FAC Free weight area reopens June 1 with modifications

Register Now! Summer Recreation Classes begin June 1

Summer registration is now open for recreation classes with modified offerings.  Check back frequently for additions! Enrollment will be made available as new programs are confirmed throughout the summer. Kidventure full-day camp option available. 


  • Frisco Discovery Center
  • Frisco Heritage Center
  • The Grove at Frisco Commons
  • Frisco Water Parks at the FAC
  • Indoor Aquatic Center at the FAC
  • Fun Club and Zone (childcare) at the FAC
  • Pavilions open but no rentals at this time
