Play Frisco's Cultural Affairs Division is proud to showcase the artistic talent of local, regional, and national artists. Art exhibitions can be found at the Frisco Heritage Museum, Frisco Discovery Center, and other city facilities and public places across the city.

Artscape at the Rail District October 21, 2023 - February 25, 2024
Artscape is the City of Frisco’s first pole banner art exhibition. The art of 20 artists, chosen from over 200 submissions, will be on view between 3rd and 5th Streets in the Rail District through February 25, 2024. This unique opportunity functions as an outdoor, walkable gallery experience and is a testament to the incredible art created in Frisco and the surrounding area.
Artscape was organized in collaboration with the Downtown Advisory Board. The artwork selection committee consisted of members of the Downtown Advisory Board, Public Art Board and Parks & Recreation Board.
Winter Art Show 2023 December 13, 2023 - January 14, 2024
Winter Art Show returns for its sixth year at the Community Gallery at the Frisco Discovery Center! This art exhibition celebrates one of the four seasons through artwork that represents or suggests anything related to winter, such as snowflakes, holidays, wintry woodlands and creatures, winter-time activities and sports, frozen landscapes, snow-capped mountains, etc.
Public Reception: Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 3-4:30 p.m. with awards announced at 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Art in the Atrium brings connection and inspiration by transforming the atrium of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center into a 5-story art gallery! Over 1,500 pieces of art have been featured in Art in the Atrium since the program began in 2007. Stay tuned for details about future Art in the Atrium exhibitions.
Frisco ISD Faculty Art Showcase
The Frisco ISD Faculty Art Showcase features incredible artworks by FISD faculty members on floors 1 – 3 of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center. The exhibition demonstrates the high level of skill taught to students in Frisco, and it is a testament to the quality of visual art in our community.
