Stop the Bleed Classes

Out of an abundance of caution, Stop the Bleed classes are temporarily suspended.

Interested in learning more about how to help in an emergency? The Frisco Fire Department offers a free 'Stop the Bleed' class for people who live or work in Frisco. Attendees will learn the basics of bleeding control.  Classes will start in January 2022 and repeat every other month on the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The class is limited to 16 students and is open to those 10 and up (all minors must be accompanied by an adult;  one adult can register up to two minors.) Classes will be held at Fire Station 8, 14700 Rolater Rd. Frisco.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action, encouraging bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
