Stop the Bleed Classes

Interested in learning more about how to help in an emergency? The Frisco Fire Department now offers a free Stop the Bleed class for people who live or work in Frisco.

(March 11, 2020) We have temporarily suspended registrations for all Community Education related activities; We will share updates, when available.

Attendees will learn the basics of bleeding control.  Advance registration is required.

The class is limited to 16 students and is open to those 10 and up (all minors must be accompanied by an adult;  one adult can register up to two minors.)  Due to popular demand for the March class, we are adding spaces;  March registration will be open until filled.  Registration for future classes will open the first day of the month for our training sessions on the the third Wednesday in May, July, September and November from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fire Station 6, 3535 Eldorado Parkway.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action, encouraging bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
