Stop the Bleed Classes

Interested in learning more about how to help in an emergency? The Frisco Fire Department now offers a free Stop the Bleed class for people who live or work in Frisco. Attendees will learn the basics of bleeding control. Advance registration is required.

The class is limited to 16 students and is open to those 10 and up (all minors must be accompanied by an adult;  one adult can register up to two minors.) Registration opens on the first day of the month of the class. Training sessions will be the third Wednesday in March, May, July, September and November from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fire Station 6, 3535 Eldorado Parkway.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action, encouraging bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
