Frisco has nine places where you can cast a line. Go out in nature, relax, and get angling!

Know the rules before you go

Frisco Parks & Recreation Ordinance: Fishing shall be permitted only from the banks of any creek, pond, lake or other bodies of water in any park. No trotlines, throw lines, fish traps or nets shall be permitted. Fish may not be cleaned in any park. Other fishing regulations apply as outlined by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Fishing Events

Trick A Trout: The Frisco Commons pond is stocked with 3,000 plus trout for this fishing event for kids which happens every February.

Learn to Fish program: Sign the kids up to learn to fish sessions taught by Texas Parks and Wildlife certified angler instructors. This program is offered in the spring and fall. Find the details and registration information in the spring and fall issues of Play Frisco Magazine.
