Join us for a walk along the nature trail at Frisco Commons for an egg hunt done Play Frisco style! No hurried count or race for the most eggs. This year, scout for eggs in small groups at a comfortable pace through the beautiful trees on the walking trails. Don’t forget your basket!
Before or after your scheduled egg hunt, visit the education expo, take your photo with the Easter Bunny, or have your face painted. Learn from our Play Frisco educators and community partners about Monarch butterflies, gardening, natural streams, wildlife, urban forestry, and more!
All activities are free. Ticket required for egg hunt only.
Egg hunt participants start every 15 minutes between 1-5 p.m.
Choose your start time when you get tickets.
Adults do not need tickets to accompany children on the hunt.
Children with tickets only may collect eggs.
Please bring a basket to collect eggs.
The egg hunt path is approximately 1/3 of a mile from start to finish on a concrete path.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your egg hunt start time to allow for parking and walking to event area.
Rainout date is Sunday, March 28, from 1-5 p.m. Tickets and egg hunt time automatically transfer.
Learn to Fish In this Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Junior Angler event, learn the basic skills of assembling fishing tackle, casting, and identifying fish and good fish habitats. Review fishing regulations and safety, compete in friendly contests, and try your luck fishing in the pond. Curriculum developed by TPWD and taught by TPWD certified instructors. No fishing license required for children under 17 years. Equipment will be provided.
Easter Geocache Hunt The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs that you must use your geocaching skills to find! Geocaching is a worldwide scavenger hunt with millions of hidden caches. Come learn how to get started and try a three cache course with our Natural Resources team! This program has limited GPS units and will be first come, first serve. Please meet at the Natural Resources booth at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
