Frisco Fire Safety Town offers Safety Education Programs to home schooled children (in Kindergarten through 5th grades) during the regular school year. We offer a variety of home and life safety classes. The topics are listed below and descriptions of each program can be found under the Programs tab above.
We understand the uniqueness of a home school group and will accommodate a variety of ages for a single program. Our safety programs are approximately two hours and include bike rides in our village.
Home school group leaders are able to reserve a program for their groups in advance using our online registration system. We can accomodate home school groups as we have openings in our regular schedule for Frisco ISD. Look for 'available' appointments on the scheduling calendar.
Our scheduling guidelines call for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 25 students. Younger siblings are welcome to accompany you for the program but will not participate in activities or bike rides.
The scheduling calendar will show specific grades associated with each date. This is part of our block schedule for FISD; Home school leaders should disregard this information and choose the topic desired from the drop down list for that available date. (Example, HS-Fire Safety for a stop/drop/cover and roll class.)
Our schedule coordinator will let you know if we can accomodate your requested topic on that date.
