2015 Frisco Community Parade - November 7
The Frisco Community Parade is held in November to mark Veterans Day and to celebrate community pride. The parade -- which was originally a homecoming parade when Frisco was home to one high school -- features floats, school marching bands, high school football teams, cheerleaders, scouts, civic organizations, youth sports teams, Frisco-based professional sports teams, and local businesses.
Beginning at an earlier time -- 10 a.m., on Saturday, November 7, parade participants will leave Toyota Stadium, traveling east on Main Street through historic downtown before finishing at North County Road.
Parade registration fees are $150 for non profit and youth organizations and $250 for business and professional organizations. Proceeds from the parade entry fees support student scholarships. Floats will be recognized as 'Most Creative,' 'Best Theme-Related' and 'Best in Show.'
The parade committee will not accept any late registrations, and the online registration form will be removed from the parade website at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 2.
The City of Frisco is also looking for more volunteers to help with staging and monitoring crowds along the parade route. To volunteer, please e-mail email@example.com
