The City of Frisco has installed an ET (Evapo-transpiration) Weather Station at one of the elevated storage tank facilities and has four rain gauges located around the city. We gather daily weather data including temperature, precipitation, wind speed and evapo-transpiration. Each week we use this data to calculate how much water needs to be applied to local landscape based on our soil and time of year.
We then publish the weekly watering recommendation on the Weekly Watering Recommendation page of our website.
